All about the Retreat

THE PLACE:

Nowadays, there are still a few places on earth that insistently deny to follow the stream of the modern civilisation and remain oases for those who seek for something different.
Triopetra is one of those places where time seems to have stopped!

You get to experience the archaic landscape, pure nature, the almost everpresent sun, etesian winds, the chirping of the cicadas and the soft, swooshing sound of the ocean.

This place of refuge is located on the south coast of Crete. The best Season lies between April and October where the highest Temperatures are reached between June and September.

The beach is just a few steps away from the Kretashala “Pavlos’ Place” and the guests can enjoy miles of unspoiled and deserted beaches, with turquoise, crystal-clear water in which you can swim and snorkel.
One is surrounded by Nature in its purest form that invites you to explore the healing powers of it.

The area around Triopetra is free from bars or noisy night life, which means that tranquility and quietness are guaranteed!

THE ACCOMMODATION:

Pavlos Place is located at the eastern Triopetra Beach. It is a modest Guesthouse with a family atmosphere and very comfortable rooms with its own bathroom, shower, mosquito nets, small fridge, air conditioning and screen doors.

All the rooms have a balcony with a view over the Libyan sea.

About the teachers

Petros, musician, yogi, life-artist is senior jivamukti yoga teacher and globally one of the most renown teachers & musicians on the yoga train.

Petro’s honest, funny and challenging teaching inspires to be fully aware in the present moment. So experience comes through intuition and not from a place of personal preference or dislikes. Returning to that place, where, independently from outer circumstance there always is peace: the pure light of the heart.

There are many obstacles, yoga gives us the possibility to free ourselves from. So our true nature remains no longer hidden. We really are free, wild, full of love and joy – without conditioning, without fear. He has great gratitude for all teachers, known and unknown, he had the honor to study with and is grateful to all circumstance that gives the chance to experience this feeling of unity, of non-separateness. To learn to accept the greatest of all teachers: life & nature.

Erhard loves the sound of music and silence and this is what he shares best.

As an experienced Tabla and dulcimer player he has co-hosted the Bhakti Jam Retreat for 15 years and his music is a true gift for all participants. Him playing live music during asana classes and Kirtan with Petros for sunset session is one portion of what makes this retreat so special.

Erhard’s calm but humours kind is a great enrichment to the program and he is very happy and grateful to offer what’s close to his heart.

The Musicians

Anjana Suta is a spiritual seeker born into a family of Bhakti Yogis in Italy, started his journey into Indian Classical Music and Kirtan in 2008 in Mayapur (India). First studying Mridanga, later on Singing and Harmonium under the tutalage of local teachers of the craft such Sri Radha Govinda Pal and Sri Roopesh Jee, later in 2020 picking up the Esraj and now playing classical pieces and accompanying other singers in Kirtan. His journey has taken me all over the world and he’s had the great fortune to share Kirtan with many amazing Bhakti Yogis such as Vishwambhar Sheth, Madhava Naidoo and Tarana Caitanya.

Poliana Dimitropoulou Ameyali was born in Greece, where she got her degree in Interior Architecture & Design, while at the same time she studied various alternative healing techniques and workshop facilitation. For the past 14 years, through the interest, love and inspiration she has drawn from the world’s ancient traditions of the Great Mother, her work has focused on Ritual Healing Arts, a combination of holistic healing, ritual and healing expressive arts. As a world traveler for many years, she has studied and practiced modern as well as ancient methods with selected teachers from Greece, India, Portugal, Mexico, Brazil and the United States. She offers one-on-one sessions and guides workshops on Energy Healing, Hypnosis, Meditation, Shamanic Journeys, Music/Song/Dance Therapy, Reiki, Psychedelic Medicine Experience Integration as well as Women’s Empowerment Circles, Feminine-Masculine Alchemy and Teenage Circles.

She lived with indigenous tribes and shamans for 7 years, supporting their communities and studying with them. With the support of her elders, she conducts ceremonies from the Mayan, Aztec and Navajo traditions, as well as from the ancient Greek tradition of her land and ancestors. With other healers she founded the non-profit company ALBA – The Alchemy of Life and later she created the RHEA Temple – Ritual Healing Arts, for her personal work – a harmonious combination of all of the above but also as a community that supports various other healers and artists to share their work as well. She has experience in healing centers, holistic retreats, festivals, schools and medical clinics.

An important part of her offerings is spiritual, environmental and humanitarian activism, with a vision of an awakened humanity and healthy society. A key part of this is supporting the indigenous tribes and Greek wisdom keepers, by passing on the precious heritage of those ancient traditions that hold the Key to Remembrance for a more harmonious life in connection with our true authentic selves, Nature and all living beings.
