This training is aimed at yoga teachers who wish to enrich their class with techniques from Thai Yoga Massage and cultivate awareness of touch. It also aims at experienced yoga practitioners who want to incorporate elements from Thai Massage and partner yoga into their practice. Participants will receive the instructor’s manual as well as a 40-hour attendance certificate.
Next to two thai massage practice sessions a day, the mornings will be dedicated to practicing yoga.
In the seminar we will practice:
– Therapeutic pressure techniques from Thai massage, such as pressure with the palms, thumbs, elbows, knees and feet.
– Therapeutic movement techniques, such as rocking and harmonics that promote the functioning of the parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation response).
– Passive stretching techniques
– Application of the above techniques in the adjustments of yoga postures and during savasana.
– Ergonomics and body posture, to lessen the fatigue during adjustments.
– Exercises on the awareness of touch and meditation on the awareness of the body.
– Daily morning asana-pranayama-meditation practice.

Wild Forest Retreat
A peaceful and remote forest land, prepared to host retreats, workshops and seminars, inside an environment that reconnects with the natural rhythms and the beautiful world that surrounds us.
In a wild unspoiled place with zero light, sound and air pollution, with an amazing sunrise view from the sea, we built a beautiful 75m²outdoor wooden floor shala, ideal for yoga, dance, theater, music and other activities. Inside the land there are also a camping area and two small forest houses prepared with very basic amenities to host the people. It’s a unique place inside nature for resting, detachment from city habits, practice and inner development.
It is possible to stay in a tent or in an ecological house together with other participants. At the moment, it is not possible to stay in a single room.
Meals are vegetarian or vegan, made from organic ingredients and fresh vegetables from the garden. We recommend intermittent fasting or a light snack for the evening. For this reason no dinner is provided. Nevertheless, anyone who wishes, can prepare their food in the outdoor kitchen.
