THE PLACE:
Nowadays, there are still a few places on earth that insistently deny to follow the stream of the modern civilisation and remain oases for those who seek for something different.
Triopetra is one of those places where time seems to have stopped!
You get to experience the archaic landscape, pure nature, the almost everpresent sun, etesian winds, the chirping of the cicadas and the soft, swooshing sound of the ocean.
This place of refuge is located on the south coast of Crete. The best Season lies between April and October where the highest Temperatures are reached between June and September.
The beach is just a few steps away from the Kretashala “Pavlos’ Place” and the guests can enjoy miles of unspoiled and deserted beaches, with turquoise, crystal-clear water in which you can swim and snorkel.
One is surrounded by Nature in its purest form that invites you to explore the healing powers of it.
The area around Triopetra is free from bars or noisy night life, which means that tranquility and quietness are guaranteed!
THE ACCOMMODATION:
Pavlos Place is located at the eastern part of Triopetra Beach. It is a modest Guesthouse with a family atmosphere and very comfortable rooms with own bathroom, shower, air conditioning and screen doors.
All rooms have a balcony with a view over the Libyan sea and the beach is a 2 minute walk away.
The yoga shala and terrace overlook the ocean and invite to watch the sunset.
Based in Paris, Kat is an advanced Vinyasa yoga teacher with over a decade of teaching experience. Her journey into yoga began after a 15-year career in advertising, a path she left to fully embrace the practice that had become her passion. Movement has always been central to her life—from earning a black belt in karate at 13 to years of skiing, boxing, and general fitness—but it was yoga that truly felt like home.
She completed her 200-hour certification with Gérard Arnaud in Paris and continued to deepen her practice with renowned teachers such as Krista Cahill, Jared McCann, Simon Park, Sri Dharma Mittra, Mathieu Boldron and through workshops with Keno MacGregor, among others. Her teaching blends energy-aware, alignment-based Vinyasa that is both challenging and accessible, offering space for students to explore their bodies and minds with presence and compassion.
Fascinated by the body as an incredible tool to access deeper, more subtle layers of ourselves. “Through the physical practice, we can quiet the mind and connect with our energetic and emotional bodies—revealing who we truly are. From this place of awareness, we can live more harmoniously with the world around us, in deeper connection with nature, animals, and each other”.
Her classes and retreats, create an environment where people can reconnect with themselves—anchoring in the present moment, stepping away from the noise of the mind, and finding comfort in stillness and movement alike. Whether guiding teacher trainings, global retreats, or immersive workshops, her aim is to support others in cultivating emotional and energetic intelligence for more fulfilling, peaceful lives.
As Ram Dass once said, “We’re all just walking each other home.” Yoga is Kat’s way of guiding that journey.
Klara is an advanced certified Jivamuki teacher based in Paris. Dancing since the age of five, she was always fascinated by the physical body & movement she completed her education at the Hungarian Dance Academy in classical ballet in Budapest and continued to work as a professional dancer. Then in early 2013 she tried Jivamukti Yoga in Munich which was a transformational discovery in which she happily remains immersed. By May 2014, she completed her teacher training in New York, with Jivamukti Yoga founders Sharon Gannon and David Life, mentored by Giselle Mari. Since returning Klara has been leading classes around different studios in Paris. She feels blessed to be able to teach and equally sees it as an opportunity to serve, share and learn. The last years she has been studying with incredible teachers like Dona Holleman, Maty Ezraty, Simon Park and Krista Cahill, Jared McCan, Santina Giardina- Chard.
Finding an honest space through intelligent sequencing is what yoga represent for her on and off the mat. Creating a deeper connection with the present moment and ourselves which allows us to pause to reflect about “what is going on for real” what fascinates her. Feeling the moment in it’s depth to create a transformation.
She has had the opportunity to assist to co-teach and lead many yoga teacher trainings , retreats and immersions, which always serves as an opportunity to create a greater understanding on how to serve the students with more understanding and compassion.
I believe that yoga is based on a deep physical energetic emotional and intellectual experience, there are many many pieces of this puzzle called life. The physical vehicle is what we use to get a deeper understanding of who we are. How to honour myself the same way as I honour all living beings around? We all do the best we can while we are here.”
