Starting from wherever your practice is at currently we will assist you in taking the next steps to deepen, understand and evolve your yoga practice. We begin with postural analysis and individualized somatic moverment/therapeutic exercises, and self massage to release tension as well as activate and strengthen the weaker muscles groups in our bodies.
Then we will begin asana practice in the traditional Ashtanga method of our teacher, Sri BNS Iyengar of Mysore. We will explore Primary Series, Intermediate and Advanced series, as well as Mysore style practice during the morning practice sessions.

Fresh, local, seasonal Mediterranean cuisine served onsite! Every day is a brand new exquisite culinary experience.
1pm-4:30pm – Free time to hike, explore the area, or relax on Triopetra beach
Triopetra Beach is a short stroll from our retreat center. There you’ll find restaurants, beach tavernas, and lounge chairs for spending the afternoons sunbathing, reading, & swimming in the calm, crystal blue Mediterranean Sea. Your daily dose of deep relaxation!
4:30-5:30pm – Mudra, Mantra, Meditation Practice
In the afternoons, Joey and Bryce will lead the group in the more subtle, internal, energetic practices of Yoga. The internal techniques of yoga will be explored and taught carefully as we study the Mudra system of Sri BNS Iyengar and explain the foundational methods for moving beyond Asana practice into concentration and self inquiry.
5:30- 6:30pm – Dinner
Fresh, local, seasonal Mediterranean cuisine served onsite. Every day is an exquisite culinary experience. You won’t believe the food!
6:30-7:30pm – Philosophy Lectures from Senior Scholars

Adventures in Nature
Beyond the retreat is a plethora of activities, including a sandy, sunny beach, cliff diving, hiking, nature walks and the crystal-blue Mediterranean Sea, just a short stroll away.
When we’re not practicing, there will be plenty of time to explore the breathtaking beauty of Crete.
This retreat is all-inclusive. All you have to do is arrive in Triopetra, and we’ll take care of all the details. This is your time to fully let yourself be present and worry free, focusing completely on your own self-care and self-healing.
Triopetra is a tiny village hidden in a beachside valley on the island of Crete. It is a haven for those that seek true retreat from the fast paced modern world. Off the usual tourist trail, Triopetra’s beachfront location offers the best of Crete- living in harmony with nature, generous hospitality, a slow paced lifestyle, and the shining Mediterranean Sea.
Triopetra is one of those places where time seems to have stopped! The beach is just a few steps away from the Kretashala “Pavlos’ Place” and the guests can enjoy miles of unspoiled and deserted beaches, with turquoise, crystal-clear water in which you can swim and snorkel.
One is surrounded by Nature in its purest form that invites you to explore the healing powers of it.
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to step out of the day to day world and find yourself in pristine Mediterranean nature while diving deeply into the practice and therapeutic potential of Yoga.
Pavlos Place is located at the eastern part of Triopetra Beach. It is a modest Guesthouse with a family atmosphere and very comfortable rooms with own bathroom, shower, air conditioning and screen doors.
All rooms have a balcony with a view over the Libyan sea and the beach is a 2 minute walk away.
The yoga shala and terrace overlook the ocean and invite to watch the sunset.
Bryce Delbridge
My name is Bryce Delbridge, I began practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga at the age of 15, after being diagnosed with severe scoliosis. Facing the option of full spinal fusion, my dear family friends Andrew and Ray Eppler suggested that I try yoga. During my first class I felt at home & at peace in my body. From this initial communion, I began researching & devoting my life to various alternatives to surgery. At the age of 20, I traveled to India to pursue a more austere regiment of traditional practice with Sri B.N.S. Iyengar, a direct student of Sri T. Krishnamacharya. While studying all 4 classic sequences of Asana (Primary, Intermediate, Advanced A, Advanced B), along with Mudra, Pranayama and Philosophy. I became pain free. Since then, I have continued to travel & study with world renown teachers, such as David Williams, Danny Paradise, David Swenson, Dharma Mittra, Srivatsa Ramaswami, Maria Mendola, Joseph & Lillian LePaige, Robert Boustany, among many others. Along with completing 1000hr certification through Integrative Yoga Therapy. I am E-RYT 500, YACEP & C-IAYT certified. When I’m not traveling the world, I live in Los Angeles, California. I am a yoga practitioner, yoga therapist, yoga teacher, musician, DJ, photographer, film maker & all around creative. This is my life & I love it.
